Roscommon Women’s Network (RWN)

Roscommon Women’s Network support women throughout the county Roscommon and surrounding area. We offer a confidential listening ear and guidance on all issues affecting women’s lives. RWN offers, information, personal development, mindfulness, counselling, volunteering, training, referrals to other services with continuous support throughout the process, and many progression opportunities. We do this through our information / drop in centre in Castlerea and through our outreach worker who will meet women anywhere in the county to discuss and access their individual needs in a compassionate, non-judgemental and confidential manner. RWN workers in the centre and around the county refer or signpost women to appropriate supports which will meet their specific needs. RWN will remain in contact with the woman as a support and advocate for as long as needed. We also provide access to many part time or full time accredited and non-accredited training courses, both in our training centre in Castlerea or in local community locations around the county. We work with women from all different cultures and backgrounds and we work collaboratively and effectively with all agencies to help ensure we get the best outcome for all women in the county, individually and collectively.
